What is happiness for you?

What is happiness for you?
Having money? Being recognized by others?
Isn't the ultimate goal to “recognize yourself”?
Deep within the desire to be recognized by someone else lies the wish to gently affirm yourself.

In Buddhism, this is called “自他不二”
Even without money, even without possessions, it's enough to recognize yourself.

You came into being through a series of miraculous coincidences.
It is nothing less than the world wanting you.
Let us love you, such a miraculous being.

If you treat yourself carelessly, others will treat you carelessly too. If you treat yourself with care, that gaze extends to the world.
That is why practicing self-recognition is part of the spiritual journey.
