禅-Zen, awareness in stillness.

Placing your mind in the present moment. This is the wisdom of Zen, which has continued for over a thousand years.

We are connected to the world at an unprecedented speed and live surrounded by information. Amidst this, the term “mindfulness” is gaining attention around the world.
In our busy daily lives, the practice of calming the mind and focusing on the present moment has become an indispensable part of everyday life for many people.
At the root of this is the simple, profound, and practical teachings of Japanese Zen.

Zen teachings emphasize the concept of “white space,” which encourages us not to seek immediate answers.

This approach involves acknowledging the existence of anxiety and pain rather than forcing them away.
For example, in zazen meditation, when distracting thoughts arise, we do not deny them. We simply observe them and wait for them to pass. This allows us to let go of mental distractions and aim to deeply feel the present moment.
This “being with one's emotions” is a very important sense that we, who live in a modern world where our awareness tends to be directed elsewhere, are in danger of losing.

Mindfulness also emphasizes letting go of others' evaluations and judgments and focusing on “feeling.”
Even if it is sadness or anger, the time spent facing one's emotions is a small habit that helps one stay grounded.

Even if it is sadness or anger, the time spent facing one's emotions becomes a quiet healing.
In such stillness, we find clues to confront the “world as it is.”
The teachings of Zen are not about adding something, but rather about stripping away to embark on a journey to encounter one's true essence
